In 1947, David was working for China
National Aviation Company (CNAC); In 1949, amidst political changes, he signed up to leave
China.
He suddently relocated to Hong Kong, where job opportunities were scarce.
Without work for several months, he relied on savings and stayed with relatives while
learning
Cantonese.
Eventually, David found work as a radio operator and transitioned to the Radio Corporation
of
America (RCA) to study radio electronics.
Seeking stability, he moved to Canada through an immigration process and later relocated
to
the
United States, leveraging visa agreements between the U.S., Taiwan, and China.
In the U.S., he continued working, eventually obtaining a green card and becoming a
citizen.
